As she walked into the empty classroom. The blonde girl smiled and sat her books down onto the table, it felt so good to be back in her slytherin robes and back in hogwarts. She took a seat and started running a hand through her gold locks. She came across a tangle and knew she would have to find a spell that would keep it perfectly straight. She sighed and started doing a little light reading as she waited for students to arrive, she didn't have many friends.
Currently reading a defense against the dark arts book. She smiled as she read about the different surses and such. She jumped when she hear the sound of the door behind her open it startled her a bit.

Scorpius was having a horrid morning. He had been mauled in the Great Hall at breakfast by some wretched second year student. “Scorpius Scorpius! Will you help me with this Defense against the Dark Arts homework!” No you little twat, I will not help you. What dirty scoundrel had told that boy that he was the one to go to for help with school? He didn’t associate with people who weren’t in his eye level and that boy was certainly not. After assuring the youngster that if he continued to harass him about helping him with his studies he would not live to see another day he had escaped and made his way to his first class. Potions. Perfect.
They had done away with double potions with the Gryffindors a few years earlier when Scorpius had managed to make all the Grffindors in the class cry, even the boys. What could he say; he just didn’t much like them that day and was feeling especially hateful. Smirking to himself at the memory he pushed open the door to the classroom. Usually the professor didn’t allow them inside before class but since it was the beginning of the yeah he must have forgotten to lock the door. No matter.
Upon entering the room Scorpius was astounded to find that for once he was not the first student there. A head of blonde hair was already inhabiting the room. For a moment he thought he thought that maybe it was that insane girl from Hogsmeade and he had gotten his schedule missed up. Checking his note of classes he confirmed that no, he was on time. A second glance at the girl made him feel like an idiot for thinking she was that raving lunatic. Him and Casey weren’t exactly close but he should at least be able to recognized her after six years of school with her.
Never mind, it’s not like he cared that much really. But she was a fellow Slytherin so he cared more than he usually would. Even though he detested ‘friendships’ as it were he needed to at least attempt to make connections in this school. It wouldn’t do well to be picked out as the loner. The loner always gets blamed when things go poorly. Taking a seat at a table near Casey’s he unenthusiastically unloaded his satchel, pulling out his potions level 8 books and a notebook as well as his quill. His mother had gotten this quill for him for his last birthday. Since he was a big fan of writing she thought it suited him. It did. It was beautiful, but he’d never say that out loud. For eagle feathers this one was exceptional, he had to admit.
Placing his quill lovingly down on the work space in front of him he casually turned towards casey. She seemed to be reading a book. Upon closer investigation he recognized it as their Defence against the dark arts book. Strange that she be reading that when they didn’t even have the class today. Not to say that he hadn’t already read it cover to cover. There was a reason that was his strongest subject.
Have you reached the part about Countering a transfiguration hex? They have a picture of a man being turned into a rabbit.
Scorpius couldn’t really help himself when it came to Defense against the Dark Arts. And anyways, he was hungry for intellectual conversation.

She flashed him the page she was currently read, which was on the topic he had so brought up. She turned to see who she was talking to. "Hello, Scorpious. How are you today?" she said with no real intrest in her voice. She continued reading as she waited for a reply. She managed to tear her self away from her book, so she could focus all her attention towards him.
She placed a bookmark in between the page to keep her place and quickly swept her hair into a ponytail. She started to grin her innocent grin, which was as fake as a doll. There was no feeling in her smiles they were just cold and empty.

Scorpius took in the page that she flashed him. Of course she just happened to be on the page he mentioned, because that’s just how life at Hogwarts worked. Things just happened whenever you were thinking about it. He found himself playing with his quill between his fingers without really noticing it, running his fingers over it and smoothing out kinks. It was really his pride and joy.
He remembered that day. His father had taken him to take his Apparation test. What a joke that was. Scorpius had passed with flying colors, of course because he had been aparating for years. Since magic in Malfoy manor couldn’t be detected because of countless spells that are unable to be lifted Scorpius had been using magic even away from school from a very young age. His mother wasn’t exactly thrilled with it but Draco had always been extremely adamant about Scorpius being the best at absolutely everything he did.
Placing the quill firmly back on the table near his notebook the boy turned his attention back to Casey. She seemed distracted, cold. He liked that in a person. He liked to feel like they were as detached as he was. The appeal of needy friendships didn’t really draw Scorpius in. Her mouth formed the words but he knew she didn’t care how he was, didn’t care who he was, didn’t care about him. It was better that way because there was no way he wanted her caring.
I’m perfectly fine, save for some pesky younger student this morning but I won’t bore you with the details about that. I trust your story went well Casey?

"You trusted correctly" she said cooley yet again. She tilted her head towards his pen and back up again. "you must really love that quill" she said observently. She was one of those people that always seemed distracted and away from the world, she never notciaed this about her self. She simply looked passed him and back towards him again with the faintes slight of attention to her gaze. She blinked her crystal blue eyes shut and back again waiting for him to respond. She like him somewhat. He was almost just like her, she could sense how they're personalities almost made a mirror effect to them.

Scorpius instinctively clenched his quill in his hand when she acknowledged it. He didn’t like people looking at his things. One time a local boy had asked if he could try out his toy broom and Scorpius, five years old at the time, had hexed him into the next week. He didn’t share well. So when Casey asked about his quill he felt like he should hex her too. Then again she hadn’t done anything wrong and he didn’t feel like she was some sort of a threat to his possession. He picked up his quill and started twirling it in his hands again.
My mum gave it to me last year for my birthday. It’s an eagle feather. I’m rather attached to it. One of my prized possessions
He smirked at the blonde in front of him. They’d never really actually had a one on one conversation before he didn’t think. Yes of course they may have come in contact in groups or in the common room but it had never been just the two of them sitting and talking. This was a little bit weird. He wasn’t really sure what to think of this. He was a Malfoy, Malfoys did not associate with people. Then again its not like they were really interacting. They were both being standoffish and cool towards each other. He was pretty sure that the conversation could end and neither of them would care. But why do that? There was still plenty of time before class and he was bored.

"Oh we all have our possesions." she said with a hint of understanding in her voice.. She looked away and pulled out a leather covered journal with her initals on the bind. "My dad gave it to me a couple of weeks ago...I was really surprised I didn't think he cared about how I stored my thoughts." she said honestly.
She shook her head and a few of blonde locks fell out of its ponytail. She sighed and tucked them behind her ear.[/sup]

Scorpius nodded in agreement, watching closely as she pulled out her jounal. Eying the book he supposed it looked nice enough. He himself did a bit of journalling but nothing in something so concrete. Usually he just jotted his thoughts in notebooks or the margins of books or spar bits of partchment. He knew that many girls liked to have actual books for that kind of writing though. To each their own.
Parents can suprise you sometimes. My mother got me this quill for my birthday. Before that she had never really expressed that much interest in me.
To the end of that Scorpius wanted to add that he had always been much closer to his father but he didn't think this girl would care, nor was he willing to divulge personal information like that to anyone. When she reached up and pushed her hair behind her ear he felt himself reaching up and ruffling his own hair. He didn't really like to keep neat hair so every so often he would muss his own to keep it from looking as such. Maybe it was his problem with authority, maybe it was just the side of him that didn't want to be proper like the rest of him. No matter.

She looked towards him and actually looked at him. She smiled again, and looked away she actually found him interesting. He wasn't quiet ugly in her book either. She just kept her gaze forward and just nodded her attention was fully attracted to him. It was in a way people could tell she was paying attention but yet she looked as though she had zoned out.
She turned back and took out her ponytail and placing it back again. She had a habit of pplaying with her hair.

Scorpius watched cassey quite carefully as she turned away from him and seemed to stop paying attention to him. Something told him that she wasn't exaclty ignoring him though. Nevermind, he didn't really have much else to say and he hated small talk. Turning towards his own table he opened his notebook and picked up his quill, beginning to write.
Every so often Scorpius would look up, glancing at Cassey. She was very Fidgety, this one. He'd never really studied her before, he knew practically nothing about her. He didn't really care to know but he didn't so much loathe interacting with her either. She didn't seem to be incompetent. The normal person would have come up with something else to say but he didn't so much feel the need to be the one to break the silence.

"We've must've arrived really early" she said looking around the empty room. She sighed and sarted to chip the polish off her finger nails off. She was a fidgety person and only fot that way around people she remotly like. Dare she say she had a crush, or was she simply seeking to use him to feed her sexual appetiet that has been deprived for a while now.

Scorpius lost his train of thought for a moment when he noticed her hands working at each other. She was chipping her nail polish off. It was a trivial action, something that didn't really interest him but he couldn't stop watching her hands. She was talking again. he was missing it but he faintly heard her.
It's possible that he changed the place for class today. he likes to do that sometimes. Bugger.
Scorpius' eyes never left her hands. He had the bad habit of looking through things sometimes while he was thinking. He wasn't quite sure where his thoughts were headed however he didn't much care either.
((OOC:: Hmmm i don't really know, if oyu got any ideas just go for it and i'll go along haha.))

She nodded when he stated he liked to change class areas. "Ah you are right he does do that" she said stopping when one finger was clean of black nail polish. She sighed and shrugged "we have nothing better to do, we might as well hang here?" she asked seeing as how it was pointless in sitting there. She was bored and she thought she might as well do what she did best, she'd make a move on him. She knew judgeing by his personality it would be a tough one. She personally didn't want anything serious she never did.
With a sigh she started to pack all of her things into her bag and stand up stretching.

Scorpius was pulled from his trance when she got up and start packing up her things. He himself was still sitting with his quill between his fingers, mid sentence. Watching her rise he found his mind wandering suddnely to the things he'd like to do to her in an empty classroom. he was a boy after all, he couldn't rightly help having thoughts like that especially when alone with an attractive girl. Personally, he was starting to feel like his heart might lie somewhere specific but what could a little fun hurt? He wasn't commited to anything.
Trying to push away the thoughts he was having he reminded himself that this was the first time he had had an actaul conversation with this girl. He wasn't exactly an easy code to crack, he likes to make it a bit of a challenge for people. When she stood up and started stretching he let his eyes wander a bit over her. she was a very attractive girl, of course he already had known that. She was in his year after all. This was hardly the first time he had looked at her. But Scorpius didn't pursue people, he let them come to him. And so he went back to finish his sentence and then followed suit, placing his books back in his bad and rising, standing several inches taller than her.
I suppose you're right.

She looked up at him his height surprised her a little. Yes she had known him for all her years at Hogwarts, but not once did she stand this close to him. With a smile she leaned into him "and what do you supposed we do for the rest of our time" she said almost breathlessly, with a seductive grin. She then walked aways from him watching the room as she did so. She smirked and looked down at her robes.
