Twilight walked out onto the Quidditch pitch at around three in the afternoon. She knew most people would be in lessons and so the pitch would be free for her to have a leisurely ride around. She like the difference in volume when she was on her own and when there was a match. She loved the roar of the crowds and how much energy it gave her...but at the same time, when there was peace she always had full focus.
She mounted her brook and kicked off into the air. Her school robes lay in a heap near the stand, so she was in only her shirt and skirt. They lay flapped helplessly around her neck as she circled the pitch with a smile. The cool air whipped her face as she flew higher up and Temps closed her deep brown eyes.

Josh was sitting down in the stands of the quidditch pitch. It was what he usually would do in his spare time. It helped him relax, he had always liked the peacefullness of the empty pitch and the glitter of the golden hoops as the suns rays hit them. His brook was rested vertically on the seat beside him. It was a perfect day to go flying. As he looked out into the distance, he saw a girl on a broom start flying around in circles around the pitch. She was wearing a shirt too! Maybe if he was lucky, the wind would catch her off guard.
A small smirk snuck it's way onto his face as he stood up. He grabbed his broom and admired it's sleek wooden handle. Polished handle and trimmed bristles. Perfect quidditch condition. He mounted the broom and kicked off. The wind made his ropes fly back, giving him a nice aerial look. He flew towards the girl and stopped directly infront of her, almost making her crash into him, but the girl was quick on her broom. She stopped quickly, avoiding a colision.
"Mind if I join you?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow up.

After a few moments of that free feeling with her eyes closed, she sense someone else near by. Twilight saw it was a boy above her and swerved sharply to her left to avoid him. "She bit her tongue before anything harsh could come out. His robes boasted that he was in the same house. And though she wasn't the nicest person around she liked to keep on good terms with her housemates.
She mused his question for a few moments. 'You were the one who said be more sociable. And It's not like he's from any of the other houses.' Twilight thought to herself. "You can join me." Her voice held little warmth, but her eyes showed curiousity and wonder as she hovered there. Twilight circled him slowlyShe was certain that she knew this boy but she could place her finger on a name.

Josh nodded as she answered him with a voice that sounded rather dreamy. Almost as if her mind was somewhere far off in the distance. He looked over at her as she began to circle him, as if she knew him from somewhere. In his mind, he just hoped that she didn't know about how much of a disgrace his parent's were. He leaned forward on his broom and accelerated forward, darting in and out of the golden hoops. Flying was by far his favorite past time. He let himself hang upside down in the air as he flew around in cirlces. He was gallant high up in the air, but not so much when he was flying close to the ground.
There was something about that area that felt rather hostile to him. Whenever he was close to the ground, he would always find a way to lose control of his broom and go crashing into the grass.
He straightened himself up and looked at Twilight. "You should join the Quidditch team, we need some people right now." He flew towards her and stopped infront. "What do you say?"

She watched him dart out of her circling routine and move toward the hoops. Twilight moved slowly trhough the air watching the way he controlled the broom. He was obviously better flying higher up. It almost seemed like second nature. Temps chuckled to herself as she knew there were many people who couldn't mount a broom properly let along fly.
She brought her broom to a sharp halt as he appaeared infront of her again. "Are you just trying to make a collision happen?" she muttered. "The Quidditch team? What positions are open?" Twilight asked. She loved playing beater. A girl though she may be, Twilight was a force not to be messed with. Light and yet solid, he father had taught her how to make sure no one messed with her, and she applied it to all areas of life. Especially Quidditch.

Josh smirked at her comments. "Maybe. Or maybe i'm just seeing how fast your reflexes are. Every position is open except for the Seeker position. Yeah, I kind of own that. But, if you're good on a broom and have good reflexes, you could always try beater. Nothing beats whacking a bludger towards your enemies with a nice bat. but, it's not always as fun when you're on the wrong side of the bludger" He said with a laugh. "Hey, what I could do is get the Quidditch box out. You could hit bludgers towards me while I try to catch the Snitch, what do you say?"
He smirked and did a small roll on his broom. Nothing excited him more than Quidditch and girls. And he had both right now. But this girl seemed strong. She could pose a threat to him out there. It really would be quite an advantage to have her on the Quidditch team. Slytherin needed a winning team this year. Anything to beat the Potters.

"I don't think you're that sharp." Twilight said as he spoke about testing her reflexes. There is was. The defensive side of Twilight making itself known. She really wanted to try and get along with him. At the talk of a bludger she gave a genuine smile. "That the position I trained for." Temps then laughed a little. "You're right. The bludgers show no mercy, I know the damage they can do." Subconciously she ran her index finger down her nose wich on close inspection, you could see was slightly crooked. "I have problems staying focused, but sure if you want to bring the box out, then go for it." Twilight wanted to show to him just how good she was with a bat and bludger.

Josh smirked. "It sounds like a plan then. One second, I'll be right back." He flew off into the distance, and a few minutes later came back with a rather large box. He slowly decended to the ground and laid his broom down. He dropped the box and opened the latch. He grabbed one of the bats from it and tossed it up to Twilight, who caught it easily. He braced himelf for the bludger, the ball he was going to release next. He opened the latch and covered his head with his arms. The bludger shot out with immence speed towards Twilight. But she calmly hit it up in the air and began just bouncing it off of her bat.
Josh smiled at Twilight before looking back down at the box. He grabbed the Snitch and held it infront of him. It spread golden wings quickly and began flapping it's wings quickly, trying to move. Josh smirked, watching the Snitch with a sort of awe. How could something so small be so valuable? He opened his hand and the Snitch jumped into the air, hovering infront of him. It shot around his head, as if teasing him, before flying off.
Josh mounted his broom again and kicked off. "Well, lets the games begin I guess"

Twilight flew down a little lower as the boy had gone off to get the box. She showed no mercy when it came to Quidditch and was ready to give everything she got. Temps had caught the back and smirked at her fellow Slytherins reaction as he released the bludger. The ball was the type to smell fear. It went after those who were weak. Much like Twilight. She contolled it eaily and looked down at Josh with a smirk.
She watched carefulley as he let the snitch out. She had never been fond of it. That was the ball that teased the seeker's and could make or break a player's career. Professionally, of course.
Hearing his words she ginned, "Bring it on." She batterd the bludger off to the posts away from him wanting it to build up speed and anger before she would send it at the boy. Twilight knew what she was doing.

Josh darted around in the air, watching for the Snitch. He looked down at Twilight and cocked an eyebrow. She just hit it towards the hoops, what was she doing? He caught a glint of gold but when he turned, it had dissapeared. He took a steady pace around the pitch, looking for the Snitch. This thing was annoying as hell. It liked to play with your mind. Suddenly, the snitch stopped right infront of Josh's face. Josh tried to quickly grab it but it flew away.
Josh's face contorted into a snarl as he shot off after the Snitch. If he was lucky, he'd catch this Snitch before the bludger could do any harm to him. The Snitch darted downwards and Josh was quick to follow, picking up speed. The Snitch darted side to side, while still making it's downwards decent. After Josh was getter closer to the ground, he began feeling uneasy. The Snitch darted upwards immediately and Josh pulled up on his broom. He stopped on his broom just as soon as he was about to collide with the stands. He cursed to himself and flew back higher. Bloody Snitch...

Twilight kept one eye on the bludger and the other on Josh. She could see the slight frustration as he went after the snithc. She didn't envy skeers. She had no patience to keep circling the pitch for the small gold glint. Temps kept batting the bludger away from herself and Josh, moving around the pitch and a quick pace.
Twilight grinned as the bludger had picked up pace and was ready to be sent towards her target. She lined it up with Josh pulling her arm back before swinging it forward with great force. The bludger went hurtling forward and was headed right at him. Twilight sat on her broom waiting to see the outcome.

Josh still couldn't believe that he didn't catch that Snitch. It was so close to him. He, once again, continued moving in a slow pace, looking for any sign of that precious gold. He looked down at Twilight and she was still hitting the bludger to an idle position on the pitch. Did she not know where he was? Or was she just playing around with the bluger, not caring about their little 'skirmish'?
Josh looked back up as he saw a glint of gold but it was a false alarm. The gold he saw was only a reflection of a golden hoop. It was then when Twilight sent the bludger towards him but he didn't notice it until he heard the faint 'whoosh' of wind as the bludger shot through the air. Josh quickly went into a slothgrip roll to avoid the bludger, but as he straightened himself up, the bludger came back like a boomerang and hit him in the heel, shooting a pain through his foot and spinning him around on his broom. Fuck!

Twilight watched the bludger do it's work. She knew their paths inside out and at what force it hit him. Keeping the bat aloft she flew to Josh and helped the broom to stop spilling. "Are you alright?" she asked him curiously. In all honestly, she had not set out to hurt the guy just to prove herself and now she may have caused some damage.

Josh nodded. "I'm fine" He muttered through gritted teeth. "Just continue. I'll catch that snitch one day" He shot off again, this time circling the pitch at a faster speed. He'd catch that snitch even if it killed him. In the corner of his eye, he spotted it. The Golden Snitch.
He shot after it at full speed as he darted through hoops, up and down, and higher and higher. He chased after it with confidence. When he was just about to grab it, it swooped down at a 90* angle. Josh stupidly followed it. With each second that passed, he gained speed until he was nothing but a green blur in the air. He reached out his hand and snatched the snitch. Only then did he realize how close from the ground he was. He grabbed the broom with both hands, being careful not to drop the snitch, and ran into the stands. He fell off of his broom and landed on a wooden chair. Not exactly the most comfortable.

"Whatever float your boat hun," she said flying off for the bludger that was destroying a few seats in the stands. She batted it away and began to play with it letting Josh do what he wanted. AFter all he was the seeker. If he was dertermined to catch it let him. Twilight slapped the bludger of in the distance and turned to tell him she was off when he ran into the stand and came off his broom. "Idiot." she muttered before moving over to him quickly.
She got off her broom and said, "Happy you caught it?" she asked. Twilight then turned slightly soft. "Hurt anywhere, or are you alright?" The girl wanted to make sure that he wasn't too badly hurt, if at all.
