“No, No, No! Guys I’m good. Get off!” A female voice shouted in the hallway just outside of the Hospital Wing. A harsh scream and then, “Ow!” She shouted again. In walked the whole Hufflepuff Quidditch team. All in their Hufflepuff quidditch robes and all muddy from the rain that was pattering on the window. Madame Pomfry ran up. “What happened? Another Quidditch injury? Broken bones?” She asked, almost lamely. The largest of the boys walked up, he had and girl thrown over his shoulder. Of course this was Valerie Flint. She seemed to be an accident waiting to happen.
“What happened?” Madame Pomfry asked again, looking disapprovingly at the fact that the Hufflepuffs were dripping mud all over her white tiled floor. “We were practising when some bloody pranksters decided to be funny and set a rouge bludger on our captain here.” One of the boys, Brenden who was a beater, explained. “She did some magnificent tricks but she-” “I lost sight of the bludger and it came up behind me and hit me in the leg. I think it’s broken.” Val explained with a sigh. “The impact of it knocked me off my broom.” “Quidditch is a nasty sport. Now shoo,” Madame Pomfry said to the players who weren’t on a hospital bed. Val smiled; she had always liked Madame Pomfry.
But eventually, the potion she had given to Val made her fall asleep. It must have been hours after she was in. Val caught site of the clock. 20 minutes after 4. Hm, hadn’t she fallen at the 7 o’clock practise? Madame Pomfry bustled in. “Ah, You’re awake Ms. Flint. I haven’t been letting in very many visitors but I have brought in their gifts. She motioned around to all the sweets and cards. “It’s only a leg!” Val complained. “And a concussion from your fall. You were cut up pretty badly, Ms. Flint. Those I could heal quickly but that bludger broke every bone in your leg.” Madame Pomfry explained and then walked away. Val sighed and leant back against her pillows. She wanted to go back to her house, now.

Albus heard what happened and instantly ran up to the Hospital Wing, cursing under his breath and pushing students aside. They had heard of the accident, but because they didn't know how Al felt about her, they didn't understand why she was in such a rush, if he was in fact going to see her. He even pushed aside a teacher to get through. "Potter, you better slow down," the teacher yelled after her, but of course, he didn't.
Finally he made it to the wing and Pomfrey instantly stopped him from going to see her. "I need to see her," he pleaded. "She's my girlfriend!" he yelled after Pomfrey still said no. After that, he was allowed in. "Thank you." He walked in and saw Val lying on the bed. "How are you, Honey?" He asked.
{{OOC-is the ROR thread closed or are they still making out in there? Also, think we should add current on to the relations for the plotting page?}}

Val heard a slight commotion outside her curtain. A familiar voice floated in. “I need to see her," it pleaded. "She's my girlfriend!" Val bubbled with excitement, her boyfriend Albus Potter, was here to see her. She smiled spread across her face as he entered. “Hey,” she said brightly. He came and sat beside her. “I’m perfect. A little soar in the leg and my head is still bandaged but I’m doing alright.” She said and instantly took his hand. “Nothing to worry about Albus, just quidditch.” She chuckled, he could understand that. “Blood pranksters though.” She muttered under her breath.
Val readjusted herself so she was sitting up right on the bed. She looked at him with a glint of humour in her eyes. “How bad does this look?” She indicated to the bandage around her head. “Does it make me look goofy?” She asked, actually looking for the straight answer. “By the way, thanks for the company. I’ve had no one in since I woke up.” She said with a small smile and squeezed his hand. Everything in her upper half, except her head, had healed up quite nicely. Just her leg needed a bit more time. It was wrapped up in a light bandage but she was no longer in her quidditch uniform but in a hospital dress. Her uniform was draped over the empty chair that Albus was not occupying.
(up to you I guess. And I already have.)

She thanked him for coming to see her. "Don't worry about," he said. "What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't come and see my girl in the hospital wing?" Not like he had anything better to do anyways. Besides, planning a prank and now that he was dating someone, his pranking took second to her. She was much more important than a stupid prank.
She didn't look that bad. Besides, that bandage on her head and the bandage on her leg, she looked good. "Of course not," he replied to her question. "You look wonderful and that is the straight answer." Though even if she didn't, he would still say that. He knew better than to tell women they looked like crap. Unlike some guys, he was taught respect. But she did look wonderful and he didn't need to lie to her.
"All this was from Quidditch?" he asked, shocked. He couldn't believe that she could have gotten such bad injuries from Quidditch practice. Not even he got hurt that badly. "Were you knocking a bludger away from you with your body instead of bat?"

Val laughed then stopped to wince as her head throbbed at the action. “You are a very good boyfriend, I can assure you. I would do the same for you.” She told him. Her stomach growled and she realised that she wouldn’t have eaten since before the practise. Thankfully her friends had passed on sweets through Madame Pomfry. She still didn’t understand why she wasn’t allowed visitors while she was there. All that had happened was that she had got knocked hard by a bludger, breaking a couple bones and plummeting to the ground where she spilt her head open and got a concussion. Ok, so that’s bad. But whatever, she didn’t need bloody security from an old granny.
Val smiled at him softly while she grabbed a box of Bearty Bott’s from her bed side table. She spilt them open and ate a couple. All good flavours, that was good. She offered some to Albus. “Aw, thanks love.” She pulled him in and kissed him lightly. Yet another reason she was dating him, Albus was always respectful, nice and wouldn’t tell a lady she looked bad. But Val could trust Albus and when he told her she looked good she would believe it. Then again, her last boyfriend had said she looked fat in a pair of muggle jeans she had borrowed from her friend and she had hexed him before finally telling him that it was over. But Albus wasn’t like that and Val appreciated it.
“Yes,” Val hesitated. Albus had a nasty temper and she was worried that if she told him that some pranksters had done this that he would freak out. “Stay calm ok? I don’t need you getting kicked out.” She told him, throwing in her puppy dog eyes just for fun. “Well, we were practising just like normal when some little prankster thought it would be funny to tamper with one of the bludgers. So they set it off and it went psycho. I out ran it at first but then I lost site of it and it came up behind me. I don’t even really remember falling. Just the crack when it hit my leg, the impact sent me flying. Then I hit the ground and was out for a few minutes before I woke up in our beater’s arms. He rushed me to the Hospital Wing and I didn’t want to go so he through me over his shoulder and I wasn’t very cooperative when Madame Pomfry tried t feed me that healing stuff. It’s nasty.” Val explained quite quickly. “So actually, ya. I kind did use my body instead of a bat. Maybe I should like that up to the beaters.” Val gave a nervous laugh, hoping he wouldn’t lose his temper.

Visiting your girlfriend in the hospital wing was something that anybody would do. It was just common sence. If the girl you loved was in the Hospital, you visited her and stayed with her. Albus would be with her for as long as he was allowed with her. Madam Pomfrey was sure to kick him out though and soon.
"You always look wonderful," he said. "I don't think you can look horrible. Then again, I've never seen you when you first woke up." He laughed. That was a joke. He was sure that she looked wonderful in the morning, too.
He listened to her telling him what happened and Al did get angry, but that changed quickly when she gave him her puppy dog eyes. She knew him too well. He smiled again. "That was a brilliant prank," he said. "I should do that to you next game Gryffindor has against Hufflepuff."

Valerie smiled at Albus softly. He truly was a wonderful boyfriend. If only her ex had been half the sorts. Maybe she should tell Albus….but would it would hurt him. “Albus, since you’re here…I’ve been doing some thinking.” She paused. “Never mind. It’s stupid.” She said. Val had been doing some thinking and she felt that Albus needed to know that Val had had a one night stand with his cousin, Louis Weasley. She needed to tell him before someone else did but not here, now. Val would tell him after, when they were alone. She could practically feel Madame Pomfry staring at them.
“Aw thank you Albus.” Val smiled. She gasped with mock dramatic. “Albus Severus Potter, that was mean and uncalled for. I can promise you two things. First, I will always look this good. Second, one day, you will find out if I look this good in the morning.” She winked lightly and pulled him down to kiss him. Honestly, Val had never felt this passionate about anyone. She chuckled against Al’s lips and kissed his nose. “Would it be too early to tell you I love you? Because I think I do.” She murmured.
It was true; Val did know Albus far too well. Being his friend for the past six years did that. “What will people think if you put your girlfriend in the Hospital Wing, Mr. Potter? Quidditch game or not. Plus, I don’t think I could forgive you.” She crossed her arms and winced. Ribs, she had to remember those. “But I’m glad you’re not blowing a gasket. Thank you.” Val sighed and leant back against her pillows.

Albus stared at Val. He was very curious as to what she wanted to tell him, but he wouldn't push her. It's up to her if she wanted to say it or not. He had to learn to be patient. That was not easy for him. He was never patient.
"Yes, that was mean, wasn't it?" he asked her. "That was very mean. But I'm just a mean person sometimes." He grinned. "Thought you would've figured that out by now. Well, now you know." He grinned broadened when she said that one day he'd see her when she first woke up. "I'm sure I will. I'm sure you look beautiful, too." He sighed. "No, it wouldn't be too early. I love you, too."
"I wouldn't land you here," he said. "I may even let you win."

Val studied his face, he would wait for her and she was glad for that. “Albus,” Val started. She winced. “Your cousin, Louis.” She paused. It was too late to go back now. “We went out last year. And last year was…difficult. There are some things that you don’t exactly know about. Me and Louis, it was an accident. I would take it back if I could. But I can’t. And you have to understand that I would’ve wanted it to be you, Albus. We slept together, he stole my virginity. I couldn’t have a clean conscience without telling you. Because I love you.” She explained and studied his face once more. Her eyes never left his once.
“Hell yes,” Val laughed. “Oh, well then. Someone, not mentioning any names, will have to tame that mean and bad behaviour. Isn’t that right, Mr. Potter?” She loved the way the words just flowed off her tongue. Mr. Potter. Mr. Potter. Mrs. Potter. Mrs. Valerie Potter. Oo, that did sound good. But she would never admit to thinking that. Val could tell the Albus liked the idea of waking up to her. She smiled as well. “You know, I hope that day comes soon. And you’ll look as handsome as ever. Stunning really.” Val smiled widened to full capacity. “Thank you. I’ll always love you, forever.”
Val’s eyes widened. “Are you sure? Because I’m not easily broken.” She symboled to herself. “From a fall and a bludger, that’s pretty damn good.” Val chuckled. Then she gasped. “Albus Potter, I don’t need your help to win. I can do that bit myself. Just promise that you’ll be around catch me the next time, ok?” Val said and intertwined her fingers with his.
