Rydell walked down the fifth floor corridor, His finger was following the words in his book as he read. He looked up occasionally to make sure he wasn't going to run into anyone. He looked back down as he walked. It was Saturday and he had nothing to do.
As he read he bumped into a couple of first years who were in his house and they looked at him in fear before hurrying off. He sighed as he stood next to one of the suits of Armor.

We're running with the Shadows Of The Night So baby take my hand, you'll be all right Surrender all your dreams to me tonight They'll come true in the end Sara was running down the hall, panting like a dog out of breath. She had just planted a prank down the hall and saw teacher's coming towards her. She wasn't going to ruin her record by getting caught, not today. Plus she wasn't going to waste her weekend with detentions and doing nothing. That would drive her crazy. Sitting in one room for hours on a weekend was not an option.
As Sara turned the corner she looked back to see if the teachers were following her. She turned her head and before she could see anything she was knocked to the floor. She shook her head and looked up noticing a tall Ravenclaw...of course reading a book. She stood up and dusted off her skirt and cloak. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry. It was my fault." she said, moving her blonde hair away from her eyes.

Rydell almost dropped his book when the girl ran into him. He looked down at her and noted the hair and the eyes followed by the outfit. "Don't worry about it." he said to her as he closed his book and put it into a pocket. "You okay?" he asked her. He looked over her shoulder and didn't see anything apart from some confused looking students. "In a hurry" he asked her.
Rydell pulled his hand out of his pocket after putting the book into it, He was wearing his normal non school attire. He looked a little concerned as he waited for her response. "My name is Rydell" he said to her as he held out his hand.

Um..." she said with a small laugh. She didn't want to say why she was running, for the fact he could be one of those goody-two-shoes. But she didn't know who he was. Maybe it was because they were in different houses. "Are you alright?" she asked with her thick American accent. She looked down at his hand and pulled out hers, shakeing his. "Sara." she said with a smile.
"So what are you reading?" she asked. She wasn't much of a reader herself. Mostly an outside person. Sara placed her hands in her robes and relaxed a bit. If teachers were following her they would of gotten to her by now. Letting out a sign of relief she awaited for his answer.

"I am fine." he said to her as he looked at her, "Nice to meet you Sara." he said as they shook hands. He was surprised that she didn't answer his question but didn't push the subject any further. "I am reading The Shadow Rising, by Robert Jordan." he said to her, "He is a Muggle Author but he does some really good writing." he said, "The words really come together to create an image in your mind to what is going on."
Rydell sighed as he heard more feet running. "I think that whatever you were running for is going to catch up soon." he said, "I would recommend hiding in there." he said pointing at an empty classroom. "If they ask I will say someone ran past me and knocked the book out of my hands." he said to her as he calculated the responses prefects or other students might have.

"Oh yeah, I've heard of him. My sister Renee is kind of a bookworm...not like its a bad thing. But yeah she way smart." she said with a smile. He deffienetly gave Ravenclaws a good name. Not only did they read magical books but there were a few she knew that read muggle writings. She would rather go out and live it rather than read it. "She said he was really good. But of course shes more into history." a slight smile came across of pink lips.
As she spoke she heard footsteps, fast pacing footsteps and they were getting louder. She looked around to find a place to hide. "Thanks. I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere." she said with a bit of sarcasim. She snapped her finger and with a pop disapeared. If they had turned the corner and saw her go in there then she would be toast. But if they saw no sign of her then she would have a chance off getting out of a serious detention.

Rydell actually did drop his book when she just snapped her fingers and disappeared. He bent down to pick it up as a couple of prefects came around the corner and went right past him, didn't even stop to ask him if he saw someone. I wonder what she did. He thought to himself as he stood back up and knocked a few pieces of hair off his book and opened it back up to page 475 and put his bookmark in it.
He watched until the prefects were out of sight before walking over to the door of the classroom and seeing if she was in there.

Sara had been hiding behind a large tapestry down the hallway. As she heard footsteps get closer her body tensed up. As soon as they faded she let out a small sign and stepped out from behind the wall cover. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to set off those stink bombs in the prefect's bathroom. But either way...it was hilarious. Or atleast she thought....and maybe a few students that were down the hall. She always thought that the Prefects needed to loosen up anyway. Even though she was one herself, which surprised her.
She walked down the hall, where the boy was before. She saw he poked his head into the nearby empty classroom and smiled. This was so perfect and of course, a idea poped in her head. He would probally hate her for it, but it was all in good fun. She walked up to him quietly and said "Boo!" with a big smile. She held in her laughter as she watched him, hopeing it would scare him.

Rydell didn't see her in the classroom. He sighed slightly as he started to turn around. When she said "Boo" it scared the living daylights out of him, he jumped about a foot in the air. When he came back down he dropped his book again and turned to face her in surprise. "That wasn't nice." he said to her as he looked at her.
Rydell bent down and picked up his book again. This time he put it into his book bag. making sure the book mark was in it first. "So... I have to ask, What did you do to make the prefects so angry?" he asked her as he looked at her.
