Dressed in his brand new leather jacket, his favorite blue-jeans and sneakers, Nigel sneaked out of the dorm entering the empty common room. It was 2am so it wasn’t much of a wonder that no Ravenclaw was up. Usually in the month of exams the common room is full for 24 hours, with Birdies who study hard. Long time ago he was extremely disappointed in the house he was sorted in, but now he kinda likes it. Who would expect a Ravenclaw, little smart-bird to be a rotten, power-thirsty, pureblood-maniac? Silent as the night breeze, Nigel got out, leaving the Ravenclaw tower quietly behind his back. The voyage through the empty castle wasn’t as long as it was when those halls were crowded with students. So it took him about 20 minutes to reach the gate. As he closed the heavy wooden door behind him, a satisfied smirk stretched across his face. He made it. He managed again to go out without being noticed, even by Peeves-and that WAS something!
As fast as he could, Nigel walked through the high untamed grass. He wasn’t sure whether he was late or not, but the forest was still far away from where he was right now; so he ran. Even though she was a cousin of his, a family, he didn’t like being late. For the rest of the family he didn’t care that much, but she was a special one. The only one who knew the truth. The only one he didn’t have to lie to…
When he reached the edge of the Forest, Nigel stopped and hid behind the tree. He couldn’t tell whether she was there or not. There were no sounds at all. Not even the owls or other night creatures-nothing. His heart-beat fastened up and with an intention to relax a bit (the running didn’t do him good) he lit a smoke. As he exhaled a large amount of fumes through his nose, he noticed a shadow moving few feet in front of him. He took his wand out just in case and pointed it in front of him. His hand was shaking a bit…was it fear or excitement, he wasn’t exactly sure…

Arden was atop a tree she spotted her cousin from down below she was so happy to see him he was the only one she could be herself with and the only one she could talk to about the side of her life no one knows about. She had saw him running from far and then he had finally arrived. Though he didn't know where she was. She placed a finger on the tree and it started to burn the fire was bright, and hungry and it grew bigger and bigger eating the whole tree. When the tree had finally burned out from the smoke came Arden. She had her long blond hair in two pig tails. And was wearing a black miniskirt with a black v neck cotton sweater and black stilettos. She had brought her white ferret vanilla and he was slung around her neck sleeping.
The blond women approached her cousin and gave him a big warm hug.For it has been a long since he had seen her. After hogwarts she had went straight to join the dark ranks and was happy to finally see him again." Hey Nigel so now that your finally here i think we should start making plans as soon as possible". Arden said quite sweetly.
She produced a map of the order's headquarters and pointed to a place on the map.

Nigel noticed something suspicious, but still that something seemed like his cousin’s style. Watching the tree burn only confirmed his thought. It was her after all, coming from the smoke, looking as nice as she always did. However, it’s been a while since he saw her last time. He heard that she joined the forces of Dark Lord, Death Eaters. What an outstanding and brave thing to do. Nigel was sure that, as soon as he leaves Hogwarts and his parents’ house, he will do the same. Now it wouldn’t be a smart thing for him to do. Not yet. He was hiding behind the image they all had about him. The image of a silent and smart boy with good intentions. The thing is that he actually had good intentions-power was definitely a good thing…being superior was too…
As Arden appeared in front of him, a smile as wide a dead nun’s heart appeared on his lips, stretching them as much as possible. A warm hug, then straight to business-that’s something he really liked about her. There were no unnecessary babbling things. “Nice to see you after so long.” He patted the ferret sleeping around her neck, and then focused on a map. The smile turned into grin as his long, greedy fingers crossed the large piece of paper. “You bloody genius…” he sighed and placed the cigarette from between his fingers back into the mouth. “What’s the plan? D’ya guys have a spy?” He smiled wickedly, exhaling the smoke towards the black sky.

Arden looked over at her cousin and smiled. He was always so eager about adventurous stuff even from little. At took the map threw it up in the air and pointed her finger at it and several jets of green light ran threw it and held it to a tree, it pointed to the orders conference room. She then went back over to her cousin and said " Where going to infiltrate there conference room but i think we might need some more people." " Once done we will take out the head of the order if there isn't one we will take out the strongest members.
She then looked her cousin in the eye and said " We must recruit th best of the best the most talent wizards and witches for this plan to work we can try to do it on our own and yes i know your a very strong and talented wizard but without other members we don't stand a chance". " Plus i don't want to see you gone so we cant take that chance." Arden said sweetly wiping her eyes quickly before her cousin could see her cry.
She then noticed her baby ferret waking up. She snapped her fingers and out of a thick blue and green shimmer a small bottle of milk appeared. She fed her ferret while holding up its head and then layed its head gently back down when it fell asleep again.

At first Rayne hadn't heard the voices, she was in her Animagus form, finding it a nice way to relax because she couldn't sleep and when she would sleep in this form she also felt more rested, maybe because Chipmunks ran on less sleep than humans. It amazed her that as she grew closer to the Forbidden Forest voices could be heard, she could hear the exact words because of her improved hearing, her head tilted to the side as she heard them speaking and she examined an acorn.
Her curiosity got the best of her and she ventured closer into the forest, when she found she was close enough to hear the conversation well she scrambled up the nearest tree noiselessly. Seeing the humans made her chipmunk-self want to hid herself further and she listened to that instinct even though her other half recognized Nigel. In her haste though she put to much weight on to small of a branch and it snapped sounding quite loud to herself and most likely to the others who were in the woods near by, like Nigel and the woman. She took that single moment to scramble even higher up the tree, her claws finding perfect fittings in the bark, somethings were easier when you weren't a human.
She took the next few seconds to examine the woman, she had never seen her before, she would have remembered if she had seen someone like that. And the animal around her neck wasn't any comforting to the Hufflepuff, in her current form even though the ferret was young she still didn't trust it. She would have moved higher into the tree if it was possible but there were two problems. She was already as high as she could climb and she didn't want to draw any more attention to herself as she waited with bated breath, if you could even have that as a chipmunk, to hear what they would say next.

Arden turned around quickly startling her sleeping ferret vanilla which scampered onto the floor. Arden had heard a twig snapped and knew someone was eavesdropping on her and Nigel's conversation. She pointed at a tree and told vanilla to look for the intruder around there. She had seen small animal footprints leading it's way to the tree and knew that it could easily be a witch or wizard in animagus form. She walked elegantly over to the tree and traced her finger around it making a large circle it lit up with a green glow. The tree started to slowly go deeper and deeper into the ground until you couldn't see it anymore. Thats when she saw a chipmunk.
She called vanilla back to her and she put him around her neck again. " Listen chipmunk i know your not a regular chipmunk i can sense the magic in you so just transform back to your human form. She put the chipmunk back down on the floor and threatened it by pointing to it with her index finger. Her finger was starting to glow red and she demonstrated how dangerous it could be for the chipmunk by picking up a couple of leaves and throwing them in the air and before hey hit the ground pointing her finger with great speed at each and everyone of them. All of them ash once they hit the floor.
Arden smiled and then waited to see what the little chipmunk would do.

She had blown it, Rayne knew it from the very second she had snapped that twig. She really should have thought harder about it, she should have known that would happen from that very step. She backed against the trunk as she felt the tree sink, her chipmunk half wasn't liking that at all, it wasn't natural while her human half was wondering what she had gotten herself into. She tensed at the sight of the ferret and even managed to bare her tiny teeth but soon realized it was folly to do so.
She saw what the witch could do and it frightened her, she decided that it would just be best to go back to human form, she obviously knew that she was an Animagus, if you blinked you would have missed the transformation. Right where the tiny animal had been now crouch a fifteen year old girl, she was dressed simply, in blue jeans and a black shirt. Rayne slowly stood up and rolled her shoulders as if to stretch them. She had to resist the urge to grab her wand from her back pocket. She didn't want to give herself away so easily, so instead she just looked at the witch with a glare, "What do you want?" Her voice didn't give away the fact that she was nervous, nor the fact that she was wondering why Nigel was there. She didn't think he would be the type to hang around someone like her but then again, she still didn't know much about him... at least, not as much as she wished to know.
"Who even are you?" Obviously she was a skilled witch but Rayne knew for a fact she was not part of the Order which made her even more wary. Most likely this woman was one of the new line of Death Eaters and Rayne probably just got herself in a situation she didn't want.

Arden had taken out her pig tails and let her shining platinum blond hair free. She studied the girl she looked to be either around or younger than Nigel's age. " Well i don't think your in the position to be demanding questions but im in a good mood so ill humor you". " I am Arden Rosaceae". " This is my cousin Nigel in case you guys haven't already met. She circled around the girl and looked her in the eyes. She ran at the girl with great speed but before she hit her she jumped for the tree behind her and hung on.
" You know you seem like a smart little girl tell me why would a young girl go into the forbidden forest and spy on two people who can do you great harm". Arden pointed her finger at the girls head and a droplet of water was produced and fell from above landing on the girls head and immediately crating a shield made of water. " Now listen we want answers and we want them now either tell us what you know or face the consequences which all result in death.
She jumped from the tree and went closer to the girl. " You see that water your encased in will become pure ice in a couple of seconds and if you don't give me answers i really don't see how you will be able to escape this one. Arden took her hand and rubbed the shield which was already turning into ice. She then pointed to her long hair and it lifted quickly and worked its way into a bun. Then she raised both of her arms and brought them back down and as they reached her sides a circle of white light surrounded her and her outfit transformed into a sleek black gown. " Ahhh that's exactly the look i was looking for you know you make a great mirror".

Nigel was listening without dropping a sound. The plan seemed perfect, even flawless. He wasn’t surprised that he wasn’t involved in the plan. After all he wasn’t a Death Eater. One of the main reasons he didn’t want to join the Junior forces was because they actually took everyone. He knew for a fact that some Gryffindors were in there too. Why would Gryffindors wanted to join the Dark Lord? It was so damn strange…but fine. Nigel nodded when she finished her talk. It was so nice to have a family member that was so close to him.
Suddenly a sound of snapping branch brought him back to reality. It happened not far from where the two of them were standing. Luckily he had the wand with him. “Did you hear that?” He focused on the sound that happened few seconds ago, thinking who or what might have produced it. His heartbeat fastened again. Oh the beloved adrenalin…
Arden had a quick and smart reaction. Sending her ferret in action was a great idea. Little guy found a chipmunk. Nigel stood aside as Arden talked to it. He knew someone who could transform into a chipmunk…could it be…a Longbottom girl or was it just hid paranoid imagination? Nigel was focused on a scene without even blinking. He watched the chipmunk with great attention. What’s gonna happen now? Is it really an Animagus as his cousin supposed? Yes, it was…an Animagus. For less than a second Rayne Longbottom was standing on a place where a chipmunk was not while ago. Nigel gasped silently, looking at both of them. He still had the wand in his hand and the cigarette that was placed in the other one, just fell on the forest ground.
The conversation started and Nigel decided he won’t talk unless he’ll have something to talk about. It was his usual policy and he had no intention of changing it right now. But the second question just came out of her mouth and it was time for action. “She’s my cousin.” He said calmly. There was no reason to panic. She probably hadn’t heard every single word the two of them spoke about the plan…
However, Arden had a different idea. It definitely wasn't a bad one, but still-Nigel is in school with that Badger. She might spread the rumor that he was hanging with a Death Eater. Although, in that case he would have to think of a way to shut her mouth. Again he decided to lean on the tree and wait. Wait for more things to happen. The situation almost gave him a nervous break-down, which requested a cigarette. So hit lit one, waiting for someone to speak or at least do something. Hell…it was exciting.

"So you do know my cousin then hmmmmmm i not surprised isn't he just the cutest thing". Arden said giving her cousin a quick smile. " Well i guess since nigel knows you i should let you live" Arden snapped her fingers and the ice cracked open. " Nigel so what do you think should we trust her or not". Arden asked her cousin hoping he would say no cause if they couldn't trust her then they cant just let her go she could tell anyone. She gave the young girl a cold glare she just wanted to kill tonight a burning tree couldn't satisfy her. Plus when she was done she would feed the young girl to her boa constrictor.
Arden stood there looking at his cousin wondering what his decision would be. She wondered if he would spare her because it was his friend or if he would leave her to die. Either way arden didn't care she wouldn't think of her cousin any differently. She knew if it was a friend of hers in this position she would most likely spare them . She waited patiently waiting for her cousins approval and started to play with her ferret. Arden brought vanilla by her nose and he licked her then she took out a toy and he began to teethe on it seeing as he had no teeth since he was just a baby.
Arden then had an idea she would kill this girl no matter what her cousin may say. She pointed to three trees and outlined a triangle with her finger connecting them making an invisible line. Then arden conjured a circular blade and made it invisible she pointed her finger at it and guided it to the invisible line. So whether he cousin said yes or not she would simply point at it and hit it with a beam of light and activate it and the blade would go around and around though only to of the angles had a chance to hit.

Rayne scoffed for a minute, this girl really wouldn't do anything to harm her, first of all, Rayne believed she was quite advanced for her age due to the fact that she would help with the order and the second reason she believed she would not be harmed? Well, obviously people would notice if she went missing, her father certainly seeing as she had his class the next day. Rayne rolled her eyes at the girls name, it was certainly unfamiliar but it just screamed Death Eater to her... the next few things that Arden said made her believe her own ideas even more.
"I didn't mean to spy on you." Rayne quickly stated, she would at least want to get out of this alive, the things that Rayne heard after chilled her to the bone. The shield that surrounded her was not making her feel any better, she feel the coldness coming off of the quickly appearing ice, Rayne rolled her eyes at the good mirror comment. She was here to be a mirror for some psychopathic freaky crazed witch on a magical power high. She bit her tongue for a brief moment before she finally decided it would just be best to speak. "I really didn't."
"I came out into the woods because I feel more relaxed out here-" She shivered slightly, "I was collecting acorns when I heard your voices, instincts brought me closer." She managed to make her voice unwavering but you could still detect the slightest amount of fear in it. She closed her eyes for a second and took a deep breath, "I snapped the twig, as a chipmunk I prefer to stay away from Ferrets but then you heard and we know where it went from there. Is there anything else you wish to know?" Her last question came out sarcastically, most likely it wasn't a smart thing to say but she couldn't help it, Rayne had the urge to send Nigel a pleading look but she wasn't going to give in that easy but she still couldn't resist to take a single glance at him before her attention was focused back to Arden.
When she heard her next words and felt the ice crack she was relieved, but she had still blurted the answers... she probably shouldn't have. "People will know if I go missing, believe me." She stated easily, her life now resisted in Nigel's own hands, basically, and she was not comfortable with it and for once she was regretting ever being an Animagus... she just hoped she could make it out of this situation alive.

Nigel smiled at the comment Arden just made about his cuteness. He liked the reflection in the mirror every time he would pass next to one, and comments like those only made him believe he really has a reason to like his reflection. Rayne got released when Arden asked him a question. For a moment he stood silent, thinking about what she had asked him. He wasn’t sure about the answer. Rayne and he met just once before this night. He just wasn’t sure… Plus he wasn’t sure that she wasn’t in a Junior Order or something. In case she was, his cousin might be in trouble in case Order finds out about the plan Death eaters have made. It was a tough thing to decide. “I dunno…” Nigel said, suspiciously staring at Rayne. He knew that a murder in the Forbidden Forest wouldn’t do much good to any of them, especially if someone notices that he’s not lying in his bed right now. It’s almost a certain thing that he would be a main suspect. “Maybe we could change her memory just in case…?” It had nothing to do with showing-off in front of Arden. He knew that she knows that he’s perfectly capable of seeing/committing a murder (and worse things), the only thing was that Nigel always thought about everything. Every word he ever said was well planned-same goes for actions.
When Rayne told her story, Nigel was even more sure than before that ‘memory-change’ would be the best thing to do. No one would get hurt, no one would get in trouble and no one would find out for the plan. Now wasn’t he a genius? Once again he turned towards Arden, then looked back at Rayne. His face expression was impossible to read, just as his thoughts were. “Of course they would notice.” He said, sounding kind of annoyed even thought he actually wasn’t. Then he spoke to Arden. “Mr. Longbottom is her dad. He’s in Order, right? Well…besides that, he’s a herbology teacher…” He still stood behind the idea of changing her memory, but he wanted to hear his cousin’s opinion.

Arden stood there pondering the idea while stroking vanilla's silky fur. " You know Nigel the idea is rather tempting should i perform the memory charm". Arden was thinking about this hard. In the end she just decided to go in with the memory charm though they would either have to bring her back to her room or make up a story as to why she was out here." Ok i will perform the memory charm". Arden said calmly. She pulled out her slender wand and pointed it at the girl. Arden and flicked her wrist. " Obliviate". She cried a blue spiral of light came out of her wand with such power and ht the girl in the head. Arden had made it so the girl would have no idea of what she said , no idea of what she was doing out her and best of all she wouldn't remember Arden.
Arden then went over by her cousin and said. " Since she now remembers nothing we can go on with our plan without anymore interferences". Even though arden had wanted to kill the girl she was happy that the girl wouldn't remember anything that went on today. Especially the plan those of the order wont know what hit them.
