Alexandra is out in Hogsmeade since its on of the weekends where you can go out of the school and got to Hogsmeade. She is wearing a pair of pants that are ripped at the knees and a normal blue tee shirt with a pair of tennis shoes and a jacket. Alex walked into the Three Broomsticks as she ordered herself a butterbeer. She then paid for it as she grabbed it and went over to a table. Alex then took a sip of her butterbeer as she put her legs up on the bench that she was sitting on.
She then looked out the window as she loved being out Hogsmeade. Alex then took another sip of butterbeer before she took out her book from her jacket. She opened it to were her bookmark was as she begin to read some as her head of lovely long blond hair rested against the window.

Scorpius scowled as he stepped out of a carriage he had been forced to share on the way to Hogsmeade from the school with some extremely bubbly first years. It was his own fault, he supposed, for not having obtained any substantial friends during his previous six years at Hogwarts. If he had, maybe he would have been sharing the carriage with them. But what are friends really anyways? Father hardly every had anything to do with any of the people he had attended school with, whether this was due to shame or just pure apathy Scorpius wasn’t sure, but he took after his father in most respects and this was one of them. He was not going to bother himself with trying to make friends this school year either, he was sure of that, none of these people were worth his time. Besides, he was far too busy with other things to maintain any mundane friendships.
Pausing for a moment to let the first years rush past him into Honeydukes he continued on his way past the candy shop, passing also Zonkos. His original plan was to proceed to the Hogs Head but he lost his motivation rather quickly when he saw multitudes of Gryffindor students heading towards his destination. Ever since the Great Battle people had thought of that hole in the wall as a great monument seeing as it had been how Harry Potter and his friends had helped the school escape from Hogwarts in the heat of the war. Scorpius saw only the appeal of gloominess and hardly ever having to meet anyone inside it’s walls. However, he usually appeared there on days when he was not necessarily meant to be in Hogsmeade so that was probably why students never bothered him. One good thing about Aberforth was he didn’t much give a damn about Hogwarts students, especially not Slytherin students.
A new plan was needed because Scorpius was growing more thirsty and anxious the longer he stood in the middle of the street and he was keenly aware of eyes on him. He hated being looked at. Turning his head slightly he threw a look of death at a Hufflepuff fourth year boy who had apparently decided he was intriguing to look at. His glare made the boy think otherwise and he quickly took off after his friends into Zonko’s. Needing o free himself of this ridiculousness, Scorpius made a beeline for the door of The Three Broomsticks. It was bound to be full of teachers and students alike but he didn’t much care anymore, he needed to clear his head and get his thoughts in order.
Approaching the counter he was greeted by the barkeep gruffly, apparently having been recognized for the Slytherin he was since it was obvious there were no others in the vicinity. Rudely ordering a butterbeer he sneered at the man across the counter from him and paid, more than ready to get away from him. Now to find a seat. This proved to be more difficult than he had anticipated. Every Table seemed to be filled in the mere moments since he had entered the pub, not only that but they were filled with bubbly students from all the other Houses that he had no particular desire to ever have anything to do with.
Wandering across the room he scanned faces, tables, looking for any where to place himself. He finally decided on a table that looked empty and sat down expecting to be left alone to be at peace with his drink. However, when he looked up after taking a swig from his bottle he found that he had been mistaken. Sitting on the other side of the table quite immersed in a book of some kind was a blonde girl he had never seen before in his life. Alright, that was probably not true, he had seen her once or twice at school but he was almost positive he had never had any classes with her. He berated himself inwardly for having been so careless as to sit down at the same table as someone.
Well there was nothing he could do now. He certainly was not going to give up his seat because some girl was already at the table. How would that look? It would be as though he was running away and Scorpius Malfoy did not run away from girls. He definitely couldn’t do that. On the other hand he couldn’t just allow her to sit at the same table as him. He would have to drive her away somehow. The best thing to do, he decided, was to fix her with a classic Malfoy glare and hope that she would get the message and leave. So He sat and he glared at the top of her head as she read, waiting for her to start feeling his gaze bearing down on her.

Alexandra continued on reading her book. As she then looked up from her reading some as she took a sip of butterbeer but when she looked up she was surprised to see none other then Scorpius Malfoy across from the table. Alex then looked at him before saying "Why hello Scorpius?" As she looked at him. Not caring that he was giving her a glare but she doesn't care at all since she isn't afraid of the famous Malfoy glare.
Alexandra then looked at her book as she leaned on the window some more. As she is not caring at all what anybody thought. Since Alex never cared really at all well except when her father keeps pushing her to became like him. She looked at her book some as she started t read it and making sure her coat was still on her and covering her bruises as well. She moved some of her hair away from her face. As she hoped that some of her hair won't move so they won't show any of her bruises on her neck.
Alexandra continued on reading her book as she took a sip of her butterbeer. As she continued on reading her book. She then hoped that she could at least be able to tell someone some day about her dad's beatings but she can't at least. Alex then leaned her head more against the window as her hair was flowing over her neck and face.

Finally she looked up and she did look a bit surprised as she did so and so Scorpius let a sneer crawl across his lips as he waited for her to spring to her face and scuffle off probably apologizing. It didn’t surprise him that she recognized him, most people did, most people should. It was possible at some point or another he had been part of hazing her. He liked to take part in the Harassing of people from other houses. It was one of the few bonding activities he did with members of his house. He did not however understand why she was greeting him, let alone why she was still sitting there.
She was clearly insane, he decided, as she was making no move to get up and from what it seemed was making herself more comfortable on her seat to continue reading. The sneer left his face as anger started rushing through him. How dare she infringe on his space. Granted he had initiated this debacle by seating himself at her table but how was he to know that she was an incompetent fool with an apparent death wish? Why couldn’t she just leave, he was certain she had friends of her own to go bother. Why must she just sit there and be a menace to him with her presence?
Scorpius was at a loss for what to do. There was no way he could back down now, not now that she had acknowledged him. No, he would just have to try harder to unhinge her. He smirked to himself once more, the anticipation, the itch to make her cry driving his mind to race through his options. He had only been at school for a bit and he hadn’t really had a confrontation with anyone quite yet, it was almost overdue. Now, rather than searching for ways to drive her away he was hoping she would stay so he could figure out what made her tick and break it.
Watching her for a moment, making himself more comfortable he noticed her pull on her jacket. She wasn’t cold, it was boiling in here, the owner of the pub must be overdoing the heat to make up for the chill that had overtaken the area the night before. Maybe she was self conscious. Who wouldn’t be when presented with a Malfoy. He wasn’t really sure but he had a feeling if he could find out he could use it against her, but he had to work up to that. Couldn’t be overeager. No one likes to climax too soon. For the moment he could settle for something simpler.
I’m glad you know my name, it shows you at least are a little bit competent. I have no guilt in my heart though in admitting that I have no idea who you are. Nor in fact do I really have any desire to but seeing as you have initiated this conversation I feel obliged to continue it. So please, by all means tell me your name so we might get to know each other better.
The end of his bit was ripping with sarcasm. He really had no care or desire to know who this girl was, he really just wished to be left alone and for her to maybe drop dead on the spot, but seeing as she was there might as well have some fun with it. He didn’t expect too much of a reaction to his current rudeness but it was just the beginning.

Alex looked up from her book as she looked at him. She then said "My name is Alexandra Thomas. Mr. Scorpius Malfoy." AS she smiled at him as she put her bookmark in her book. She then took a sip of her butterbeer. As she did so she looked down at her hands as she saw one of her bruises peeking up. Alex grabbed the end of her coat as to cover it up. As she did that she grabbed the other one and did the same.
Alex then hoped that he didn't notice any of her bruises that might be showing up on her body. She then let go of one of her sleeves to take a drink of her butterbeer. AS she did one of her bruises started to show but right now she didn't care at all. Alex then after taking her drink but her hand right down so no one well notice a bruise showing. Alex then looked aorund some as she put her book away for now. SHe then said "SO mr. Malfoy ahow is your day so far?" She asked as she smiled at him.
Alex the looked around some as she hoped that no one well notice on of her bruises. Alex then moved some of her long blond hair to one of her shoulders. Alex then leaned against the window some more as she is very sweaty hot since its boiling in here and the window is cold. She then continued on leaning against it. Since her hair is on the side that is against the window she is a little happy some that she gets some coldness on her. She then moved here jacket some more so her arms won't show.

Scorpius pasted a fake smile across his face. It looked very out of place among his cold stiff features. His eyes were bearing into her, searching her soul through her eyes for any sign of something he could use against her. So intent was he on trying to find something, anything, that he almost missed it. She was fiddling with her hands and he was having a very hard time ignoring this movement so he glanced down at them for what was supposed to be only a moment but turned into so much more. There, on her wrist that he could just see under the sleeve of her jacket was a bruise. Faint, as if it had been here for several days. She pulled her sleeve down too quickly for him to investigate it any further.
Luckily, he glanced over to her other wrist and saw a matching bruise. That sealed it for him. He was almost positive and she hastened to cover that one up as well that she had been forcefully grabbed by the wrists. By the way she kept grasping at her jacket he could also gather that she probably had bruise all over the rest of her body as well. Scorpius couldn’t help but smile at this. How fortunate he was to be so apathetic to what people said that he merely watched them and looked for little things to make into big things. This had almost literally fallen right into his lap.
She was asking him a question, he had to pull himself back to reality. Why in the hell was it any of her business how his day had been? Why did she care? It’s not like he had ever even given this girl a second glance prior to this unfortunate accidental meeting. She would learn her lesson. You don’t bother a Malfoy, they play dirty.
A normal, caring person would offer sympathy once they realized this girls dilemma. He hadn’t really been listening when she said her name, he was too busy searching for a way to make her feel worthless. Someone who was a better person than him might ask her what was wrong, who had done this to her and offered to take her to the school nurse or even talk to the head of the school and see if there was anything they could do about it. Scorpius was not a good person though. He thrived off other peoples pain and wanted to cause more of it. He wanted to punish the world the way they punished his family.
Impulsively as her coat slipped again when she turned a page in her book, completely ignoring her pointless question, he lunged his hand forward and before she could cover it again he grabbed her wrist rather harshly with his hand, narrowly missing one of her bruises and clearly exposing it. Voice dripping with sarcasm and mocking sympathy he spat out the first words of what he was sure would be a very entertaining exchange, at least for him.
What’s this? You get in a fight with your boyfriend? Or maybe daddy dearest got a little sick of putting up with you?
He was groping blindly for something to strike. He wanted to upset her, hurt her, make her pay for upsetting his day. He was no more sure of how she got those bruises than he was that there were more of them but the most he could do was make accusations and get her mad enough at him that she stormed off. Roughly he threw her wrist back on the table and reached to take a swig from his bottle again, looking at her expectantly, a smirk painted on his face.

Alex looked at him as she felt his hand on her wrist as she jerked her hand back she said "It's none of your business. And just to let you know I have no boyfriend at all." AS she looked back down at her wrists. She then pulled her sleeves up as she didn't want no one to see her bruises at all since she hated her father so much. She then looked around some before leaning over the table to say. "You know what Scorpius you want to know how I got them. Fine it all started the summer after my mother died from a job trip from her muggle job my father started to beat me becuase he wanted me to be just like what he was a death eater. And I don't want to be one so he continues on beating me every summer just to get in my head that I should be like him but I don't." As she leaned back onto the window as she put up her book in front of her face so she could act like reading instead of crying. Alex then continued on keeping her jacket from covering her bruises on her arms part of her neck.

Scorpius couldn’t help but snicker when she snapped at him in response to his question. Apparently he had struck a nerve. He was, however, a bit upset when she didn’t go on and seemed to be going back to her book. Whatever, he would just ignore her as well, he had accomplished what he wanted, getting her upset. She clearly was. He picked up his bottle and was in the process of taking another swig when she started her little rant about her father. He smirked, something that looked oddly attractive on his face, almost normal. He nodded and laughed again when she started talking about how she wouldn’t be a death eater.
She obviously had no idea who she was talking to. He had wanted to be a Death Eater ever since he was little and his father had told him about his grandfather Lucius. There were some disagreements between the two apparently that Scorpius had no need nor want to find out. Lucius had known how to keep the power in the Malfoy family, something Draco had clearly not cared as much about. It was Scorpius’ dream to recapture that for his family, to reinstate them as one of the most powerful families in the wizarding world. He wasn’t really sure if this girl expected sympathy or what, but he clearly wasn’t the one to be divulging this information to if she was looking for understanding.
Oh, your father is a death eater? You should really introduce us, I’d really love to chat with him. I’m sure we’d get along splendidly
His grey eyes were sparkling evilly as he took another sip of his butter beer. Glancing around the room he met the disapproving eyes of several people, most of whom he assumed by the way they were looking concerned at the girl were from her own house. They probably knew he had no innocent motive in letting her be in the same vicinity as him. Looking back towards her he smirked. He had completely ignored the part about her being beaten, he should probably make up for that. He really had nothing to say about it but as he took another swig from his bottle he muttered something under his breath.
As for him beating you, you probably deserved it. My father is a death eater as well and he never beat me unless I deserved it.

Alex still was in her book as she took another sip of her butterbeer since she isn't in a hurry and she isn't going to get up from her table at all. She then said "Well maybe your father actually liked you. Unlike mine who only beat me when he was drunk which has been a lot lately." As she looked at him before taking another drink from her butterbeer. She then got back into her book as she continued on leaning against the window some.
Alex continued on leaning against the window as she looked around some before taking some of her jacket off. She then went back to reading some. And she doesn't care if anybody knows know since she knows her father won't find out. She then said to Scorpius to his comment about meeting her father "Well you won't because he isn't a death eater anymore ever since the Dark Lord has been died." AS she then went back to reading her book.

Scorpius was getting rather sick of this exchange. This girl was rather boring and yes, he could tell he was slowly achieving his goal of upsetting her day but was it really worth it? She was talking about something. He wasn’t paying attention. He was busy looking around the pub for anyone else remotely worth speaking to, or even aclear way out where it didn’t look like he’d have to confront anyone. Just his luck that there was nothing of the sort available. Looking back over at the waste of life in front of him he rolled his eyes when he realized she was saying something about how his father probably liked him more than hers did hers. So her father was a drunk, did she really think he cared?
But then she said something very interesting about her father not being a Death Eater anymore and Scorpius couldn’t help but laugh. This fragile little girl was so naïve, so easily content with the world. She probably though that the Dark Lord was the only threat to the wizarding world. Maybe he was at one point before they were born but he wasn’t anymore. He had been defeated hadn’t he? By that blasted Harry Potter. Narrowing his eyes as he thought of the Potters, Scorpius clenched his fist a bit tighter around his bottle. That whole bloody family was ruining his life, first the father by knocking his family out of their position of power and now the boys, the eldest of which he had to compete with for grades. Ruddy lot.
It was true that part of the reason his father hadn’t liked Harry Potter so much was that he was a half-blood, but that didn’t really matter to Scorpius usually. The Potters were probably the only family he discriminated because of blood, and only because they were the Potters, not necessarily because they had a muggle background, but it was something to hold against them. Scorpius was pulled back to the current unfortunate situation when the girl in front of him finished talking. He laughed again.
Well, I’m sorry to inform you but once a Death Eater, always a Death Eater.
Leaning in closer her smirked at her talking in a more hushed tone.
And don’t for one minute believe that the Dark Lord was the only threat to the wizarding world who recruits followers.
Laughing again he straightened up. Soon he would vacate his seat and also the premises but for now he was going to finish his drink.

Alex shook her head some as she then said "Well all well since no one knows who it is and since if that person doesn't know how to call or make followers then my father is safe well until he stops his drinking habits." AS she then picked up her book and drink she then said "Well I am off to the castle so see you around maybe." AS she put her jacket up and then made her way to the pubs door as she walked out of it.

laughed at her comment. This girl was something else, something he hadn’t come in contact with for awhile. He usually didn’t interact with people like her. He usually didn’t interact with people in general. She was so naïve he could probably tell her that he was the Dark Lord incarnate and he had come to kill her and her family and she would probably believe him. When she finally gathered up her things and left he slumped back in his chair. Finally victorious, he was free to sit by himself and brood in his own thoughts.
Taking several swigs from his almost empty butter beer bottle he smirked to himself. This was going to be a very interesting year. The new Power was rising faster than ever before. He had not yet told his father he planned to join the cause this time. He wasn’t exactly sure what Draco would think of it. He’d discussed the issue with Lucius before and his grandfather seemed to think he should do what he thought best. That’s exactly what Scorpius planned to do.
Finishing his butter beer Scorpius disposed of the bottle and took to his feet. Some third year students, obviously not Slytherins, had been scurrying around looking for a table. He motioned to his own to let them know it was now safe for them to sit down. That only seemed to discourage them. Laughing to himself as he walked towards the door he could see them slowly, cautiously inspecting the table to make sure all was well. Pushing his way through the door he made his way back towards the school, no longer wanting anything more to do with his classmates and their incompetency.
