Albus left the common room late one night with his broom under his arm. He wanted to try something and he didn't want to do it with people watching, so this would be the only time he could do it. The common room did have people sitting around, but he didn't think any of them would pay attention to him. They would probably think that he was off to execute a new prank. Maybe he'd do that after he tried out the new trick.
He looked behind him when he made it to the entrance hall. He wasn't being followed, was he? He thought he had heard someone, but maybe it was his imagination. The castle had that affect on him. If it wasn't his imagination, it was probably a ghost. Peeves had taken to following him around. It was probably him. Al shook his head and then left the castle. It was pretty warm out, not too windy, the perfect time to try it.
He had saw this the last time he went to a game and he really wanted to try it out. He'd been waiting for the right time and this was it. When it was still before curfew and not alot of people were around. After he got this down, he would try it during a game. Him learning this trick might help them win. He was still angry at himself for losing the Quidditch cup last year for Gryffindor. He'd been so close to the snitch, but at the last minute, the Slytherin seeker had gotten it. He was determined not to let it happen this year.
He stopped at the edge of the pitch, and took out the snitch. He'd stolen it from the supplies shed. Well, maybe borrowed. He'd put it back. He just needed it. When the snitch was out of site, he mounted his broom and kicked off hard from the ground. He was up in the air in no time. He flew around until he saw the snitch again. He went after it, going into a dive. That was the new trick. He'd always been a bit afraid going into a dive. He missed the snitch by inches and slammed into the ground, hitting his left shoulder hard.
Instantly he jumped up and looked around, hoping nobody had seen him.

"Damn homework. Why can't teacher's just leave it all in class?" she asked herself. She had been in her room for the last two hours trying to figure out her Potions homework. Slowly she started on her second paragraph. This was as far as her mind would let her. It was already 9 o'clock and she only had an hour before they restricted students from leaving their common rooms. She thought curfew was only a burden. Yeah Hogwarts was a big school and yes it may be dangerous at times but what if you wanted something to eat? How could you get in trouble for being hungry?
She slammed her quill down on her bed and let out a sign. Her homework was bringing out her temper and she didn't want to do that. Once she got started it was hard for her to get out of it. She walked over to her chest and put on her jeans and a black t-shirt with a pair of white shoes. Slowly walking down the stairs she glanced at the few Gryffindor's in the room. She said her hi's and bye's and made her way out to the courtyard. Half way there Albus popped in her mind. At the end of the summer she had started to fancy him. Maybe it was the connection with pranks. She didn't know but what she did know was that she liked him.
At the thought of that she decided to stop by the Quidditch Pitch. Maybe he would be there. Like his father he sure loved Quidditch. If he wasn't there then he was probally pulling a prank. But the Pitch was her first bet. After about 10 minutes she reached the Pitch, walking fast towards the gates. As she approached the open fields she saw Albus flying in the air, chasing the snitch. A smirk came across her face. But before she knew it she saw him plunging towards the ground and hit the grounf hard. Her eyes widened and she rushed over towards him. She watched as he got himself up and looked around. "Are you ok?" she asked as she slowed down and stoped before him.

Al cursed himself when he heard Sara. Had he known she was there, he wouldn't have done that trick he doesn't know. He would have done the ones he knew better and shown off. Okay, so Albus was in love with Valerie Flint, but that didn't mean that he couldn't show off for other women. Besides, his love for Valerie wasn't returned. She didn't have a crush on him, as much as he wished she did.
"You saw that?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just being a Potter. We're always hurt." That was mostly true. His dad had been in the Hospital wing often when he was here, though when it wasn't because of Quidditch, it was because of Voldemort. He was sure most of the time it was Voldemort. Al was mostly there because of Quidditch and he was sure that he would have to pay the nurse another visit before the night's out.
His expression changed quickly. "What have I told you about sneaking up on me, Sara?" he asked, feining anger. "I keep telling you to make your appearance known, so I can show off." He shook his head. "One of these days you'll learn." He laughed. "So what are you doing out here?"

Sara raised her eyebrow slightly and wraped her arms over her chest. "Sorry." she replied. "I didn't know that I had to shout out at you to tell you I was here." She rolled her eyes and thought What crawled up his ass and died?. He really didn't need to show off to her. She already liked him. But she still did like to watch him at Quidditch games. It just made her like him more. She always like athletic type guys. But she knew he would never like her. So to avoid embarrasement she jsut kept quiet which was hard for her.
"Stuck on homework. I almost threw it into the fire. It was pissing me off too much. But anyways I thought I would stop by and see if you had thought of any new pranks so far. I knew you would be here." she lied. She did want to know what he was up to but that wasn't her main reason. She hadn't seen him all day and just wanted be around him.

"Chill, Cromwell." He rolled his eyes. "I thought you'd know by now when I'm picking on you!" He had never actually thought that she would take that seriously. Maybe she was just stressed from school. That seemed to happen to half the students at this school. Not Al, though. Why should it? He never did anything to get stressed about. Surprising he was still allowed on the Quidditch team. "You don't need to shout your appearance to me." He paused. "It was my fault. I should have noticed you."
"You should have thrown it into the fire. I would have." He had too, to a bunch of his homework already. He took one look at them, decided he wasn't going to do it and chucked it into the fire. "I'm not that predictable, am I?" he asked. He hadn't thought he was. Sure he was always here, but he'd never thought that this would be the one place everyone always thought to look first. "I've been thinking of a few things." He shrugged. "I'm trying to top the start of term feast."

"Yeah. Sorry." she said, more quietly. She normally wouldn't take things so seriously but laitely she had been under alot of pressure. School, her parents, boys. Things were too much for her. "I'm just too stressed out. But unlike you I want to graduate." she said, looking back up from him and smiled. She never saw him in class. She was in a few of his classes but of course he always skipped. She didn't mind the occasional vacation but she also wanted to get school over with. She only had one more year after this year. She didn't want to fuck it up.
"Maybe not to alot of people but to me you are. Maybe it just 'cause I know you better." she replied. They may not be close friends but they were with eachother alot. Mostly for pranking though. She wished it could be more but she didn't push it. "Well then you have to go bigger...better. Something like..." she thought, looking around the pitch. She thought for a moment as for a prank when something came to mind. "You know what would be really awsome?" she asked, looking back at the brunette. "If we put sleeping juice in everyone's drink so they will fall asleep. Then we can go around the school and set up loads of traps and such." a smile formed on her heart-shaped face. She believe this was one of her best ideas. "Then when something happens, we arn't around or anywhere close so we wont get in trouble. They have no proof it was us 'cause they will be sleeping." she said, her face lit up with excitement.

Albus rolled his eyes. If she didn't watch what she said, she'd be sounding like his parents, getting on him about school and him needing to work harder. "I just have better things to do." Al didn't cut class all the time, just most of the time and when he went, it was so he could cause trouble and disrupt the class. Half the time, he was kicked out of class because he disrupt it all the time. "Besides, I don't need to finish school to become what I want to become."
"I didn't think you knew me that well," he said, when she said that he was predictable to her. "I guess I should start doing stuff you wouldn't expect." He paused. "Like showing up to class everyday." He laughed. "Like that will happen." He listened when she was talking about the prank and he was loving the idea. It would go wonderfully. "I love the idea. When shall we pull it off?"

"Yeah, like that will happen. Pigs will fly if I ever see you in class for the full time." she said, rolling her eyes and smiling. She knew it would be impossible for him to last one day in class. She could almost be certain he couldn't do it. And she was willing to bet on it. "I bet you that you can't last one day in class. For the full time." she said. Certain she was right.
"Um.." she thought. When would be the perfect day? Then it came to her. "How about during the Halloween Masqurade Ball? I mean it is Halloween so it will be perfect. Then when all the students are leaving for bed then that's when we strike." she said with a little laugh. She was so excited with the idea. Plus she could get a one on one time with him on her favorite holiday.

"I'm not even going to take that bet because I don't want to lose money. I can barely last five minutes in class, Sara." Classes were too long. After five to ten minutes, if he did go, he got up and left. How could people stand it?
"Masquerade ball sounds like a great idea," he said. "Less chance of being caught because we'll be in disguise." Though sometimes, you have to be caught. Without that fear, there's no point to pranking. "Where did you get that brilliant mind of yours?"

"What are you scared? Can't take a normal little bet?" she teased. She wanted to egg him on. Plus she knew she would win, and she could use a few extra Galleons. "I don't like to get caught. That just ruins the mystery of who did it. Don't you like a little mystery Potter?" she said, moving her hands down to her back pockets. She smiled as she challenged him. This happend on a regular basis, and most the time she won. Or atleast she thought she did in most cases.

"No, I'm not jealous," he said, "but I know better than to take bets that I know I can't win. I can't last in class more than five minutes." He rolled his eyes. "I'm not scared of anything." Okay, so now he was trying to sound macho. He was scared of somethings, but... why should he say that? she mentioned about the prank and Al shook his head. "Sometimes, it's fun getting caught." He face lit up. "Because then you get to wreck havoc in detention."
